The deadline for Sharps Compliance’s scholarship contest is fast approaching! Essays and applications must be submitted by Monday, November 29.
The Spring 2022 contest is open to all college students studying a healthcare-related major. Three scholarships will be awarded: $1,500 for first prize, $1,000 for second, and $750 for third.
This semester’s essay topic is related to medical waste from COVID tests.
Describe the material wastes that manifest from different forms of COVID-19 testing. Then, explore both successful and insufficient strategies for their management as published in the media or via government sites.
