Patient Support Program Resources

A substantial minority of patients never fill their prescriptions, and as many as 50% of patients who do are non-compliant with medication use. Medication can be life-saving – but only if patients take their medicine as prescribed. All health care stakeholders are concerned about the issue. Non-compliance can lead to higher health care spending and poorer patient outcomes.

Sharps has teamed with pharmaceutical companies to develop programs to help patients. These collaborations deliver customer-focused solutions that benefit patients, medical personnel, and pharmaceutical companies.
We’ve created a detailed, multimedia body of information about the issues surrounding non-adherence and solutions to the problem. It’s specifically designed to acquaint patients and medical personnel with programs and information that could improve the health and welfare of patients.

Health care providers, third-party payers, and pharmaceutical companies have taken notice. They’re studying the issue of non-adherence and looking for solutions to the problem.
